What does an advertisement in the Online Exchange cost?

Nothing - an advertisement in the Online Exchange is cost-free!

It doesn't matter if you are a private vendor or a trade dealer - advertising your vehicle in the Online Exchange is free.

  • No registration, administration or service charges
  • No limit to the number of vehicles

Costs may be incurred for booking additional online options. Only you decide whether to book these options.

 

Why can I not find a manufacturer or model?

Despite our conscientious and extensive researches regarding colocation of manufacturer and model it can be the case that you fail to find an entry.

We would be pleased if you could point out these omissions to us so that we can include them in our listings.

Please use our contact form to pass us your proposal regarding an additional manufacturer or model.

 

What are additional online options?

Additional online options highlight your vehicle in the search screen, search results list or detailed view.

You can book additional online options in your personal administration under the heading "Additional Online Options".

You can book the options separately for each vehicle and thus control highlighting in a targeted manner.

 

What additional online options are there?

Additional online options affford you the opportunity to highlight your vehicle clearly in the search and search results lists.  You increase the number of hits on your vehicle considerably in that way and increases your chances of a sale.

Premium Position
Your vehicle is displayed at the top of the list.  So your vehicle is amongst the top hits displayed to the user on search.

Highlight
The line with your vehicles details is strikingly highlighted in the search results list.  You vehicle is thus clearly distinguished from the other results and attracts more users to the detailed view.

Star Offer
You vehicle appears prominently in a highlighted box in the right hand column on the opening page, the search results list and in the detailed view.

 

What do the additional online options cost?

The charges for the "Premium Position" and "Spotlight" additional online options are according to the frequency with which you have aleady booked these options. Taken into account are always the number of bookings of the respective product in the preceding 30 days.

There is a simple and clearly structured sliding scale for online option prices - by booking frequently you can benefit from our special prices as follows:

Premium Position

  • Book from only 6 € with Special Price "XL"!



Spotlight

  • Book from only 3 € with Special Price "XL"!



Star Offer

  • Book from only 59 €!

 

When selecting online options you receive a clearly presented display of the options previously booked and what special price you benefit from with the current bookings.

So at any time you have full control over options booked and costs involved.

 

How long does a vehicle remain in the Online Exchange / Administration Area?

Your vehicle is saved in your personal administration area for at least 180 days from recording.

In the Online Exchange vehicles are advertised for 160 days.  Then they are placed offline but remain available in your administration area.

You can edit vehicles which are offline at any time or place them online again.

Placing a vehicle online in the Exchange extends its lifetime in the administration area by 180 days.

If you book one of the additional online options the lifetime of the vehicle in the Online Exchange and in the administration area is always extended by the runtime of the additional options at least.

A vehicle is deleted from the administration area if it has not been in the Online Exchange for at least 180 days and if no amendments have been made to the vehicle details.

Of course you can place vehicles online/offline or delete them at any time yourself.

 

Can I cancel my booking for an advert in the magazines?

Yes - provided the closing date for the advertisement in the magazine concerned has not yet been reached. Up to the closing date you can cancel the advert free of charge. Cancellation is carried out in your personal administration area under "Advertisement Options".

After the closing date it is no longer possible to exclude the vehicle from appearance in the title concerned.

 

Do I have to register in order to search for a vehicle?

No - to search for vehicles in the Online Exchange you do not have to register.

However as a registered user you can:

  • save as search query as a search task
  • save the shopping list longterm

As a private vendor or trade dealer you can also

  • offer vehicles cost-free in the Online Exchange
  • set up a free dealer home page
  • conveniently book adverts for your vehicles in one of our titles
 

Why are there different types of registration?

The different types of registration offer you different ranges of functions within our Online Exchange.

You do not have to be registered to use the Exchange.

As a "simple user" you do not have to supply any personal details.  You can:

  • save search queries as search tasks
  • save your shopping list longterm
  • just give your email address and a password of you choice.

If you wish to offer a vehicle for sale in the Online Exchange as a private vendor or trade dealer we need additional contact details from you. You can then

  • place vehicles in the Online Exchange
  • use the comprehensive administration area
  • book additional online options for your vehicles
  • book adverts for the vehicles you have already entered in our printed titles conveniently and quickly
  • set up your own dealer home page for no charge
 

How do I report a" suspect" advertisement?

If you find an advertisement with suspect content please report this to us using the "Reject Advert" function, which you will find directly on the detailed view of the vehicle. Please provide a brief explanation of the reason for the objection.

We shall check your comment immediately and take appropriate steps.

Despite extensive measures we are unfortunately unable to prevent suspect adverts from vendors being placed in the Exchange. For that precise reason we have to rely on your assistance.

If there are inconsistencies or if the vehicle details are incomplete please contact the vendor of the vehicle concerrned using the contact form on the vehicle details list.

 

Can you reinstate deleted vehicles?

No - if you have deleted a vehicle from your adminstration area we are unable to reinstate it.

In order to protect you from inadvertent deletion on clicking "Delete" a deletion dialogue box appears.

 

How can I apply a newspaper advert?

You can book an advert in one of our magazines conveniently and quickly from your administration area.

After recording your vehicles, select the "Advertising Options" tab at the top of your administration screen under "My Profile/Vehicle Administration".

Now you will get an overview of your vehicles.  For each of your vehicles we already recommend you one of our magazines.

Simply select the magazine in which your vehicle is to appear.

On the pages that follow you can then select the desired format for your insert.

You can also adjust the descriptive text for you newspaper advert.  This affords you the opportunity to preview the adjusted text appearing in printed form.

After completing data input you will receive a detailed costs summary

As confirmation of your booking - after completing the above pages you will receive a summary of the adverts booked by email.

 

Why can I not apply any designed magazine advert via the web site?

Via the Online portal you can conveniently have large photo, single photo or text adverts appear in one of our magazines with only a few mouse clicks.

In order to apply an already designed advertisement, a cover page or a special format in one of our magazines please contact one of our media consultants in your area.  You can find a list of media consultants in your area under Magazine + Abo / TRUCK-MOBILES / Media Consultants, Magazine + Abo / BAUMA-MOBILES / Media Consultants and Magazine + Abo / DAZ TRANSPORTER / Media Consultants.

What happens to my magazine booking if I delete a vehicle?

If you delete a vehicle, for which you have booked a newspaper advert in printed form before the closing date of the magazine concerned the advert booked is automatically cancelled.

If the closing date of the magazine has been reached the magazine booking is not deleted by deleting the vehicle from the administration screen.

 

 

What do magazine inserts cost and what formats are there?

What is the Notepad?

If you find a vehicle in the Exchange which you find interesting and wish to access it again later you can post the vehicle to your notepad.

Vehicles in your Notepad remain there for the duration of your visit to the Online Exchange.

If you have logged on or re-registered before or after your visit to our web pages your Notepad entries remain permanently saved in your user profile.  On your next visit your Notepad containing the saved vehicles is then available to you.

Registering as a user is sufficient to be able to save the Notepad.

Vehicles remain permanently entered in your Notepad for an unlimited period.

If a vendor deletes a vehicle from the Online Exchange the entry remains in your Notepad for a further 60 days.

You can email your Notepad entries to an acquaintance.

 

What is a search task?

If you cannot currently find a special vehicle in the Exchange you have the option of saving the search query you have actioned.  This search query is then regularly performed by the Exchange.

As soon as vehicles matching your saved search are found you are informed by email to that effect and receive a brief summary of the vehicles found.

You can delete your search tasks at any time under the "My Profile/Search Tasks" menu item at any time.

Search tasks remain active for 28 days and are then automatically deleted.

 

How can I order a subscription?

What is a Combi subscription?

A Combi subscription affords you the opportunity to subscribe simply to two of our magazines in combination.

Why is my favourite magazine not available?

If you cannot obtain any of our magazines from your kiosk, that is a great pity!

Simply let us know where the magazine you want is not available or goes quickly out of stock and we will try to solve this problem.

Import von Fahrzeugdaten

Wenn Sie Ihre Fahrzeugdaten bereits bei einer anderen Online-Börse, bei einer Sammelbörse  oder in einer Offline-Software verwalten, können Sie diese Fahrzeuge bequem automatisch in die TRUCK-MOBILES.de Börse importieren.

Fahrzeuge, welche schon im mobile.de -ZIP-Format vorliegen, können Sie in Ihrem TRUCK-MOBILES.de Verwaltungsbereich hochladen und so automatisch importieren. 

Neben dem manuellen Hochladen von Fahrzeugdaten stellen wir auch einen vollautomatischen FTP-Import der Daten bereit. Ihre Fahrzeuge werden dann regelmäßig und automatisch übetragen und aktualisiert.
