Versatility is definitely the main strength of new and used IVECO Daily vans. The range of Daily vans include models that can handle loads between 3,500 kilograms and 7 tonnes GVW, which places some models firmly in the heavy commercial vehicle category. The IVECO Daily is, however, more truck than van, and can be customised for a huge range of tasks.
The IVECO Daily comes in many configurations, from window vans to chassis and crew cabs, all the way up to 4xr models suitable for rugged applications. The smaller 2.3-litre diesel engine variants are extremely economical. Although even the smaller trucks are sold as heavy duty commercial vehicles, the Daily is very inexpensive to run on a day-to-day basis. Keep in mind, however, that the 3-litre versions use considerably more fuel.
The 3-litre IVECO Daily has a hardwearing engine that is one of the largest available. The van is also among the most spacious on the market, with up to 17.2 cubic metres of load space. Engine configurations vary from one model to the next, so look carefully when buying. Overall, the Daily is a good all-around heavy duty vehicle for drivers who don’t need a large truck. IVECO claims it has ‘the strength of an industrial vehicle with the handling of a van.’
